Started 3 years ago by Mozilla, the Hubs platform is a great starting point for the Metaverse economy of Landboard. Being fully open-source and notorious, there are plently tutorials and resources for better understanding the platform. To assist you in creating the ideal location, Spoke also includes building kits and connectors with content suppliers. ## Using existing scenes There are existing scenes, picture # Joining a room You can join an existing Hubs room using either a URL or a numeric code. * If you have a URL, navigate to the URL in your browser. * If you have a numeric code, input it into the dedicated section. Hubs rooms have a maximum capacity of 25 people in-room to ensure performance across devices. However, even when the room is full, many more people may watch from the lobby. In addition to being able to see and hear what is happening inside the room, users in the lobby may also speak with one another. Users are able to use their land for advertising, promotion purposes within the Landboard Ecosystem, or simply holding them for LAND rewards.

Advertising and promotion can be done using the App tools - you can add pictures and links to your Tile - anyone looking on the map there being able to see them. This way, you can promote your business, project, product, cause or anything you wish to potential customers or people of interest using the Landboard App. Once you have more than one Tile, you can extend your image and increase your visibility.

Tiles Artwork features basic data about the tile - Location, coordinates as well as the exact map view in the App. Artwork can't be seen in the app - only on the blockchain (so on the Maiar App too). ## Passive Income The Airdrop Reward mechanism serves to provide incentives and passive income to Tiles holders. #### How to participate For Tiles income we've came with the simplest yet most effective solution - **just hold Tiles**. No action is needed further from simply owning the Tile. #### When do you get rewarded? The Airdrop is distributed every 2 weeks. Tiles are only mintable with LAND or LKLAND, but a interface for automatically swapping EGLD to LAND then minting is available. ## Specific Mint 1. Open the Main App map 2. Navigate to your desired tile - can be done dragging the map or searching the location in the "search bar" 3. Click on your Tile 4. Click on "Buy now" 5. Select your desired minting token and click "Buy" 6. Sign transactions and wait That's all! If you did everything right, you are now the owner of a Landboard virtual land NFT! 🥳 ## Random mint 1. Open the Main App map 2. On mobile, click on the little dice icon at the bottom of the screen - on Desktop, find the "random mint" popup on the left of the screen 3. Select your desired token and click Mint 4. Sign transactions and wait If you own the needed amount, you'll receive a random Tile from the map. 🙌 Now all you have to do is hold the Tiles in your wallet and wait for the [bi-weekly airdrops](/tokens/nfts/virtual-land#passive-income).
